About Us

Phil's Hot Dogs is more than a hot dog cart. It's a family tradition rooted in Cleveland.

Since the early 1990s, Phil, alongside his father George and mother Cathy, has been serving great food and friendly smiles to generations of Clevelanders. What started as a small family operation became a familiar sight around downtown Cleveland, built on hard work, quality food, and treating people right.

From the excitement surrounding Jacobs Field in the 1990s to serving loyal customers at Westown Square today, Phil's Hot Dogs has always been about more than what's on the grill. It's about the people we've met, the friendships we've made, and the community that has supported us along the way.

Some of our customers have been stopping by for years, and today, many are bringing their children and grandchildren with them. That's something we're incredibly proud of.

The values George and Cathy helped establish, including hard work, honesty, and genuine appreciation for every customer, still guide the business today. We've grown and changed over the years, but we've never lost the small-business spirit and family values that started it all.

Whether you've been coming to Phil's for decades or you're stopping by for the first time, thank you for supporting our family and helping make Phil's Hot Dogs a Cleveland tradition for more than 35 years.
